LA Fresh Acetone-Free nail polish remover, an accidental love story.

Hey, Everyone!

I am back.
We're pretty much settled down now.
We moved from the East coast to the West coast. Literally. North Carolina to LA. Whew.
And yes, we DROVE! Ugh. lol.

Anyways, I packed my nail polish instead of having the movers move them, but I didn't have my nail polish remover.
Luckily, I had these handy little LA Fresh nail polish remover pads from a previous Birchbox so I put them to use.

I did not read the packaging before I used them, I just knew they were polish remover and I needed to get my polish off. And it was glitter on top of glitter!
I was kind of worried because I only had two packets. I didn't even think one would get half a hand done before the alcohol dried up.....

I opened the packet and started removing the glitter bomb and the first thing I noticed was it smelled really nice.
Then I noticed it was oily and not evaporating. What!?
And it got ALL ten glitter explosions cleaned up!
And my nails were not dried up cracked little things!
HUH!?

So I looked at the packing and did some investigating.

LA Fresh
Acetone-Free
Fresh Tuscan Orange scent.

Oooooh, I see now. This nail polish remover is actually good for your nails. Ah, it all makes sense now.
And it smells nice too.

And to top it all off they are 100% biodegradable and cruelty free.
 :)

This one little pad got ten glitter on top of glitter nails clean!
I am amazed and I am pretty hard to impress.

My overall opinion: I LOVE these!

Two thumbs up.

You can get a box of 18 for about $10 at the Birchbox online shop, or look around Amazon and other online stores.

What's your favorite nail polish remover? Do you have a non-acetone favorite?

NOTD-Zoya Kristen & Revlon Whimsical

Hey Everyone!
Today I have a Nail of the Day.
It kind of reminds me of cotton candy...
A little tidbit, I purchased Zoya's Kristen thinking it was going to be a baby bluish color and once I got it I thought it looked more grayish blue...and then I looked at the description....DUH. Should have done my research. Lol.
This is still a pretty polish though.

Incoco Nail Strips Review

Today I'm going to review the Incoco Nail Strips I got in this month's Birchbox.
I've been wanting to try nail strips for awhile now, but haven't wanted to shell out the $10 incase I failed miserably at applying them, so when I got these in my box I was pretty excited. I wasn't too happy that I got the blue ones, but I retract that statement, the blue is very pretty.

Here are what my nails looked like after applying the nail strips.

They came with 14 nail strips in various sizes, I do believe. They were all pretty big for my nail size but that actually worked to my advantage.
I was able to use my set for a complete mai/pedi and do my daughter's nails and have four strips left over! Yay!
One thing though, you need to repackage your leftover strips and seal it off tight or they will dry out.

The strips were pretty easy to apply. The instructions say that you don't need a top coat, but I used one anyway.

My daughter's little mani.

This is what my nails look like today. I've had them on for about six days with only slight chipping on my right thumb nail and I think that was my fault when I first applied the strip.

I recommend adding a top coat.

I really like the nail strips, and Incoco has a ton of beautiful designs. I would repurchase these, and I get a full mani/pedi out of one pack so I think the price is a pretty good deal at $8-$10.
I give nail strips a 5 out of 5 stars.

Have you tried nail strips? What are your thoughts and opinions? Did you love them or hate them?
Let me know in the comments.
