Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm review-swatch

I am obsessed with BB creams and tinted moisturizers. I can't stand how heavy foundation feels on my skin.
There was a moment in my life where I refused to wear foundation so I didn't wear ANYTHING on my face.
I'm so glad I stumbled upon tinted moisturizers and now BB creams.

If you're unsure of what a BB cream is, I explain a few posts back when I reviewed Garnier's BB cream.
They are basically an all in one product for your face. Sunscreen/primer/blemish fighter/moisturizer/foundation the whole nine yards.

NOTD-Zoya Kristen & Revlon Whimsical

Hey Everyone!
Today I have a Nail of the Day.
It kind of reminds me of cotton candy...
A little tidbit, I purchased Zoya's Kristen thinking it was going to be a baby bluish color and once I got it I thought it looked more grayish blue...and then I looked at the description....DUH. Should have done my research. Lol.
This is still a pretty polish though.

December Julep Maven box-Bombshell

I wasn't supposed to get this until the 7th, and it arrived yesterday. Yay! for fast shipping. :0)

I did a shelf pull this month. I chose the Bombshell box instead of the American Beauty box.

Look at how cute this packaging is! Julep normally comes in a black box and a black bag.

The card that tells you what you got.
*I have no clue with my pictures flip sideways-and I can't fix it! Ugh*

Adorable festive packaging.

My box came with Julep's Pomegranate body creme.
This is a full 4 oz size and is $18 on their website.
I was slightly afraid I wouldn't like this scent since I'm not too big on pomegranate, but this is actually pretty nice. It's not overpowering at all.
This has pomegranate and papaya enzymes in it, which dissolves dead skin cells.
I love this stuff! It makes my hands so soft and it's not greasy at all.
It's also paraben free.

I guess this is an "extra." Some people got glitter, I got little pearls. I don't know if I didn't get that much on accident or what, compared to others that I've seen, I didn't get that much. lol.

"Demi"- Julep describes this as an elegant burgundy.
And Julep Fast Dry Topcoat-these are full size and are $14 each.

This is a gorgeous red shade and I only applied one coat and no topcoat in this picture.
I've noticed most of Julep's nail polish only needs one coat to be opaque. I love it.

All of my goodies.

For those who don't know, Julep Maven is a monthly subscription program for nails/hands and costs $19.99 a month.
You take a test on www.julep.com to see which beauty profile fits you best and you'll get an email every month to show you what box and colors you'll receive. Unlike normal monthly subscription companies, Julep lets you do a "shelf pull" and pick a different box. You can also skip a month if you don't like any of the options, or just running low on funds that month.
Each box has well over $40 worth of products and is totally worth it in my opinion.
Once you become a Maven, you'll also get a special discount code for 20% off all your orders and free shipping.
(You can order off their website even if you're not a member)

Are you a Julep Maven? What are your favorite Julep colors?

OPI-Kardashian Kolors-Disco Dolls swatch

When I started uploading pictures for this post, I had intended on showing a couple of polishes, but I forgot to take pictures of their bottles! What!? How did I miss that?
Anywho, I want to be thorough, so I'll just do a feature on Disco Dolls.

Disco Dolls is a gorgeous Golden Bronze glitter with multi colored glitters (Small glitters look like Rainbow in the S-kylie) *I should have featured that first, huh? lol*

It sparkles so much in person.

I did two coats and a top coat.

This is so much prettier in person, pictures can't capture sparkle very well.

Sorry, my nails are not salon quality, but I am so impatient! Lol.

Disco Dolls is so pretty in person. This is one of my favorites from the Kardashian Kolors Collection.

I give this an A.

Did you pick up any Kolors from the Kardashian line? I have a few I'm going to swatch.

NARS eyeshadow duo swatches-Bysance & Island Fever

Look what I got in the mail yesterday! My NARS eyeshadow duos! Yay!
Okay, enough exclamation points.

A couple posts back I mentioned that Sephora was having a super awesome deal on NARS eyeshadow duos-for $10, well, I snatched those up real quick.
They still have them posted on their website, but they are out of stock. :0(
But, keep checking back, you never know...they might come back.

And the VIB sale is coming up in a couple days ( NOV.10-14) so if it comes back in stock you could save an extra 20%. And of course I'm going to say go through a website like www.ebates.com and earn 4% cash back on your purchase.
* No, I do not recieve any compansation, I just love Ebates-I do have a link you can join under me, but I've never posted it*

Okay, Let the swatching begin.

The lovely packaging.

I love their packaging, but it gets dirty faaast.

Bysance & Island Fever

Bysance
When I first saw this I thought of LA Lakers. haha.
Marigold/Iris

When I swatched Bysance, I immediatly noticed the shadows were so smooth/creamy/buttery feeling. They just glidded right on my arm. I didn't use a primer. The gold color is really pigmented. The Iris color is pigmented, but you might need to layer it on for a deeper color, if need be.

Island Fever.
So pretty in person.
The grey shade has some pink and silver glitter in it. It's not huge glitter, if you weren't paying attention, you might not even notice it. It's very subtle. It's gorgeous.
They both are very shimmery.

I just did very quick swatches, forgive me, I feel like I'm dying. lol. I've been sick all week. hmmph.
Once again, I didn't use a primer.
This swatch doesn't do this duo any justice. It is gorgeous in person.
The shadows are so silky smooth and glide right on and blend out so effortlessly.

For $10 these duos are a steal, with the discount and cash back....it's robbery. LOL. If you can get your hands on these, I defenatly say go for it.

Did you pick these up? Do you already have them? What do you think?

TheBalm-Balm Shelter-tinted moisturizer review and swatch.

I love tinted moisturizers.
I've tried a few and I must say this one is by far my favorite one yet.

TheBalm-Balm Shelter tinted moisturizer with SPF 18
2.15fl retails at Sephora for about $25, or if you get lucky like I did, you can get this at TJ Maxx for around $13.

When I found this at TJ Maxx they had a whole stack of these, but only in the shade light. I was hesitant to purchase because this was in the summer and I was pretty tan, but I figured the light would work in the winter. It actually works really well, granted I'm not as tan as I was, but it blends out really well and works great for my NC20-25 skin.

I use this when I don't feel like using a foundation, and I always set it with my MAC MSF natural for a little more coverage. It has a light non-sticky texture, but it does smell like sunscreen and the smell lingers for quite a while. I happen to like that scent. LOL. It reminds me of summer among other things. *I'll tell ya the story when I'm allowed to mention it-In March, blah*

Blended out. It leaves your skin looking dewy and fresh. It doesn't leave a heavy tint like my MAC tinted moisturizer does. I love this stuff and now I wish I would have picked up a couple more. haha.
I give this an A.

What are some of your favorite tinted moisturizers?
