Garnier-Triple Nutrition Miracle Dry Oil review

*I am a member of BzzAgent and received this product to test out and share my opinion on. All opinions are true and are my own. I am not being compensated*

Hey, Everyone!
Today I'll be talking about Garnier's Miracle dry oil for hair, skin, and nails.
Like my statement above says, I got to try this out for free. I've had it for a little while now and can fully review it.

The first thing that caught my eye about this oil is it's packaged in a spray bottle.
I've tried a few hair and/or skin oils and they came in a non-spray type bottle.
I really liked that it has a spray nozzle instead of pouring it out into my hands as I've had quite a few accidents with pouring too much out. Ugh! And too much oil is not fun to deal with...

I expected this oil to smell like the traditional Garnier scent, which it did not.
It has a light floral scent similar to BioSilk shampoo. I can tolerate Garnier's traditional scent...this was cutting it close. Florals and I do not mix.
This scent was not too overpowering so it didn't give me a headache, but I really don't prefer it.

Spraying the oil directly into your hair can leave your hair looking, well, oily. I found that spraying it into your hair and rubbing it into your hands/arms/wherever then using the left over oil and patting it into your hair works a lot better.

I really liked it for my skin and nails. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave an oily/greasy residue at all.

5fl oz is around $6 at most drugstores.

My Overall Thoughts:

I love the spray bottle. It's available for a great price. The scent I could live without, but it is a nice oil.
Don't spray it directly onto your hair unless you hardly spray any at all.
It's not my favorite oil for hair, but I really like it for the body and for the price you can't really go wrong.
I'd give it a 4/5.

Have you tried out Garnier's Miracle Dry oil yet? What are your thoughts? What are some of your favorite oils?
XO

imPRESS Press-on Manicure-review

Review time!

I've refrained from reading any other reviews on any products from Influenster, so all my opinions are based on my experience alone.

*I received imPRESS press-on manicure free to review from Influenster's voxbox program-this in no way, shape, or form influences my opinion. All opinions are honest and my own.*

I got these cute black with silver and glitter crackle nails to try out.
I really liked this design, I haven't tried the crackle polishes and this was a nice easy way to try that look.

It took me about five minutes to put these nails on. It was very fast and simple. Match the nails ahead of time for the best fit. They come in 12 different nail sizes, I usually have a hard time matching artificial nails with my natural nails, but this had a great selection of sizes.

Make sure you clean your natural nails of excess oils for the best results. You want the glue to take hold, otherwise they will pop right off.

I really liked the way they looked. I thought these were great for when you're in a pinch and don't have the time to get or give yourself a manicure.

I liked the length of the nail, not too short or too long. Perfect.

I thought these were great, but they didn't last long. I am constantly using my hands. I think these would be better for a special occasion where you wouldn't necessarily be using your hands constantly, but I have a two year old so these babies popped off quick.

My two year old daughter loved the nails. ;0)
She had fun playing around with them.

PROS: *Fast
             *Easy
                                              *Great for parties or events
                                           *Has a nice size selection
                                                       *Has a nice color/design selection
                                            *Didn't damage natural nail

CONS: *Not for someone who works with their hands alot
*Not great if you have a small child you need to take care of

You can purchase imPRESS nails for around $5.99 for colors or $7.99 for patterns. You can check out all their information at http://www.impressmanicure.com/ and also download a coupon.

October Favorites

It's November!? What? I just said I couldn't believe it was October....ugh! I'm not ready for November. I just had a little "OMG" moment when I flipped my calendar over and remembered Thanksgiving is not too far away. Geeze. This year has flown by so fast.
One thing that makes me happy : Black Friday! hehe.

Okay, now for my favorites...

Hush, Hush-Crescendo-Silence
I am a book lover.
I'm just going to say it, I was checking out what Wal*Mart had to offer and I stumbled upon the book series "Hush, Hush" so I picked it up and read the back and decided to give it a go. The cover artwork is amazing, sometimes I do judge a book by it's cover, because honestly, I really just skimmed the back. lol. I didn't even know what the general idea of what it was about other than I saw an angel on the cover. I figured I would try the first book and if it was a fail, oh well. Normally, I don't buy books at full price unless it just calls to me, and this one did.
Like I said, it's about a fallen angel and it's a love story geared towards young adults...I enjoyed it, and I'm 25, but I also like that kinda thing. Mushy lovey dovey, everything could go wrong but maybe it'll end up perfect. Swoon. Yep, that's me.
I read the first one and had my husband pick the other two up the very next day! And read those just as fast. Silence actually just was released this October and one more book is on the way for 2012.
Like I said, I don't normally buy books at full price and my local discount store had this whole series for $3.99 each! Ugh! Double ugh! and Triple ugh!
I actually told my husband I loved those books so much I was tempted to buy them at the discount store and read them all over again, even though I already have the books! That's how much I LOVE them.

Anywho, enough of writing a book on my favorite books. ;0)
Moving on....

I used Clinique's dramatically different moisturizing gel for October. I have combo skin, and I also have the normal version and a I mix the two sometimes.

I have to throw some BBW in the mix...
I used Charmed life lotion constantly in Oct.

Physicians Formula's Organic Wear was my mascara of choice.

Almay nearly naked makeup was my foundation of choice, and this does feel really light weight.

The Balm and the Beautiful palette was a staple, and I'm sure I'm going to love it every month to come because it has some awesome colors that are super pigmented.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this NARS blush palette! It is such an amazing deal. Love the brozer, love the highlight...love it. You can pick this up at Sephora and the F&F sale is still on until tomorrow, I think.

I got this Justin Beiber Someday perfume sample when I picked up my NARS palette....and I'm like a teeny bopper, I know, but I actually like this perfume alot. *blushes* teehee. Maybe I just don't want to grow up? Or maybe this actually does smell really good?
What do you think? lol.

I love this Burt's Bees Super Glossy natural lip shine in Nectar Nude.
It smells like oranges and it's pretty moisturizing.
You can feel the little shimmery things on your lips sometimes, but I feel like it's exfoliating, so I kinda like that.

I love the smell of apples and I've been using the BBW pocket bac in Bat Bite. Good thing I have a backup.

For nails I've been drawn to brownish shades.
I wore this Sally Hansen Xtreme wear in Time to Shine.

And NARS Bad Influence.
*For some reason this chips like crazy! I even use Seche Vite and it chips within hours-could be that I'm impatient when it comes to drying....?"

What were some of your favorites?
