NYC-Individual Eyes eyeshadow palette-review

*If you saw my Beauty Blogger voxbox post, you'll know I received this product free to test out and review. I'm not required to review it and I'm not being compensated for my review. All opinions are honest and my own. *

NYC Individual Eyes eyeshadow palette in Dark Shadows.

I was pretty excited to receive this product to test out because what girl doesn't love to play with make-up?
Exactly.

This palette is an all-in-one including four eyeshadows, a primer, and an illuminator.

The primer is more of a concealer consistency and it almost matched my skin tone perfectly. It's a little on the thick creamy/oily side.
The illuminator was less thick and glided on easily.

The shadows swatched over the primer

The quick look I came up with as soon as I got the palette.

I blended, blended, blended.

My overall thoughts:

The shadows were nicely pigmented and you can create a smoky night time look or you could blend like a mad women and make this work for the day time as well.

This palette is available at most drug stores or super markets and it's only $4.99 .
With that being said, the quality for the price is pretty amazing.
I wouldn't recommend the primer if you have oily eyelids. I don't know if I would recommend it even if you didn't. I wasn't in love with it and would use my own primer. It wasn't horrible by any means, I just prefer my own to it.

This palette is a great starter kit if you're new to the make-up world, or if you're traveling and don't want to take multiple products.
They also have palettes customized for the color of your eyes. So if you're interested check that out as well.

Check out NYC's website for any information you need.

Have you tried out the NYC eyeshadow palettes? What are your thoughts?
